Human-Robot Interaction: Collaboration of Employees with Autonomous Mobile Robots

With the aim of implementing various forms of cooperation between employees and autonomous mobile robots, innovative systems were developed as part of the MEXOT research project. This includes smartphone-integrated QR code recognition to request autonomous transport systems as needed. The transport system can be summoned to a target position using body gestures, thanks to camera-based gesture recognition with skeleton tracking.

MEXOT focuses on intelligent work ergonomics by integrating sensory exoskeletons and autonomous transport systems to enhance human-technology interaction in automotive logistics.
